“Shooting Star” was written about my brother, once a light in our lives, his shining star fell and burned out with heroine addiction. This song is for anyone who has tried to help someone, only to find yourself being lied to and manipulated to believe they’ve recovered. Addiction is treatable, but you have to desire change and be willing to go through the pain of recovery. The first step is admitting you have a problem.
